PURPOSE:To allow automatic and continuous cleaning of the dehydrating chamber and to dispose the kitchen dust sanitarily by the difference of the rotation speed between a dehydrating spinner and a dust scratching arm provided near between the dehydrating chamber and the crushing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A dust scratching arm 23 of a resilient material is provided in the vicinity of both the inner surface of a dehydrating spinner 17 and the outer peripheral wall surface of an upper case 5. The dust scratching arm 23 scratches up the dust attaching to the dehydrating spinner 17. The dust which has been subject to the centrifugal dehydration is raised upward by the upward component force of the dehydrating spinner 17 and the effect of the dust scratching arm 23. The difference of the rotation speed between the spinner 17 and the arm 23 makes the dust inside the spinner crawl up along the wall surface of the dehydrating chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to eliminate any mesh clogs of the dehydrating spinner 17, and improve the dehydrating efficiency and sanitary disposal of the kitchen dust. |
