<p>A pressed steel pulley for a toothed belt transmission which includes a pulley body having a substantially cylindrical skirt 12 and a pressed steel toothed ring 14 carried on the skirt. The toothed ring is circumferentially continuous and has a hooked-over end portion 22 by means of which it grips on the free edge 12A of the skirt.
