The generator (10) includes a frusto-conical housing (11) having a base (18) forming a reservoir and a narrowed outlet opening (13), means (21, 22, 23, 25, 29, 44, 41, 45) within said housing for producing mist from liquid (14) in the reservoir, the means extending upwardly from said base and discharging mist in the space within said housing whereby said mist emerges from the housing through the narrowed outlet opening. Compressed air introduced at inlet (12) discharges through orifice 23, drawing liquid (14) up channels (25) to produce a mist which passes into chamber (44) and thence through openings (41) into the housing, above the liquid (14), where the larger particles separate out before the mist is discharged. <IMAGE> |
