N,N-Dialkyl-O-(2-substituted-methyl-pyrimidin-4-yl)-carbamic acid esters of the formula in which R, R1 and R2 each independently is alkyl, X is oxygen or sulphur, R3 is hydrogen or alkyl, and R4 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen, or R3 and R4 conjointly form an alkylene bridge, which possess arthropodicidal properties.
