PURPOSE:To prevent the noises from being generated due to the landing of a reproducing stylus by releasing the muting operation after the landing is confirmed. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing stylus 1 lands on a record 20 so that a tone arm 3 is stopped, the voltage of a detecting coil 13 disappears, and the output of an AND gate 16 is broken so that a monomultivibrator 19 is triggered to generate a preset voltage for a time period corresponding to a time constant. The voltage thus generated is impressed through an OR gate upon a muting circuit 7 so that the muting operation is released after that time. |
