Disclosed is a method for displaying an ultra-high-definition OSD menu, comprising the following steps: when starting an ultra-high-definition application, allocating a processing memory from a video memory of a graphics processing unit; conducting model rendering on a graphic of the ultra-high-definition application by the graphics processing unit in the allocated processing memory to acquire an ultra-high-definition application image layer; and blending and overlapping the ultra-high-definition application image layer with a preset application image layer to acquire a menu image layer, and displaying the menu image layer via an OSD menu. Also disclosed is a device for displaying the ultra-high-definition OSD menu. Since existing hardware platforms have limitations and a bandwidth of a system memory has a bottleneck, the present invention improves a display frame rate of an ultra-high-definition OSD menu, and improves smoothness of user operation and user experience for the ultra-high-definition OSD menu. |
