<p>A space-retainer, in the form of a lever swivelling about an axis parallel to the frame plane, serves to secure a window wing from slamming closed out of the tilt position. This can be operated with one hand, in opening, closing and tilt angle variations. It is constantly sited between the frames, and can be covered. The lever (31) is mounted to swivel about an axis (32) connected to the wing frame (1) by means of a centrally activated side drive unit (11, 12). With the wing in the tilted position, it fits against a stop (51-53) on the blind frame (2). The drive may operate a displaceable lug type member, to swivel the lever against the return force of a spring, preferably a torsion spring concentric with the swivel axis.</p> |
