A movable work station apparatus includes travelling-hoist supported tools and a vertically and rotary-wise movable frame-carried radiation-shielded enclosures (40) for working personnel involved in tube-bundle-replacement tasks performed within the shell of a steam generator in a nuclear plant. The enclosures (40) are spaced from each other and accommodate four upright workers in mutally facing pairs at opposite sides of a work-accomodating clearanceway. This makes work and tools in the clearance-way observable and accessible from the enclosures interior via lead glass windows and hand holes.
