The switch has a snap-action trip responding to current and connected to the contacts. It has a spring loaded lever supporting an articulated lever. A further articulated lever is opposite to the first, and a device supports spring loaded ends of the articulated levers. They are moved by the trip from this position in order to trip the switch. The lever (10) spring loaded in its direction of movement, is supported by an elastic strip (8) operated by an eccentric. Helical tension springs (17, 20) are fitted at either end of the elastic strip (8).
