Vector (A), for oral administration of at least one pharmacologically active substance (I), that allows passage of (I) from the lumen of the intestines into the blood, optionally through interstitial fluid, without significant denaturation or degradation. (A) comprises an essentially hydrophilic matrix the outer surface of which is modified by one or more chemical species (II) that confer lipophilicity to (A). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) gastric resistant vehicles (B) that comprise one or more (A); and (2) pharmaceutical composition containing at least one (A) or (B).
