Shredded sugar-beet drying - by contact with back-pressure turbine steam and using vapours in process

Shredded sugar best roots are dried in the sugar refineries before use as animal feeding stuff by indirect contact with steam in tubes which are welded together to a revolving paddle mechanism. The drying vapours are condensed and used in the process; the condensed heating steam serves as feed water for a boiler. This utilises the heat in the drying vapours and eliminates pollution of the environment by the vapour emission.
