<p>A tube guide and guide pulling arrangement for guiding tubes into apertures through the tube sheet of a steam generator including a tool for extracting said guide once said tube is properly positioned, said arrangement including a tube guide having a conical leading end and a cylindrical trailing end adapted to be disposed within the front ends of a tube, wherein a stem portion (28) of reduced cross section between the tip (30) of said guide and its trailing end (22), and said tool comprises an extracting member (10) pivotally supported on a tool-holder arm (43) and having a hook portion (66) with a notch (67) to thereby define a pair of spaced, identical configured hooks (68,70) adapted to receive the stem (28) of said tube guide (20) for extraction of said tube guide (20) from a tube.</p> |
