The bandage coiling mechanism is driven by a steplessly-adjustable electric motor, controlled by a flat switch. The winding unit can be so designed as to allow the coiled bandage to be pulled off, being also interchangeable to suit different bandage widths. Hand work is confined to guiding the bandage, so that a high output rate is achieved.
