The pest- and worm deflector implement is suitable for gardening, forestry and agriculture. A bed border carries one or more electrodes, which are insulated with respect to earth and/or each other by means of a voltage supply. The electrodes are so fitted that when pests try to get over the bed border, they come into contact simultaneously with electrodes and earth or with several electrodes and are thus shocked or killed. The bed border is set so deep into the soil that pests canno crawl underneath.
