<p>The sound absorbent mat is designed to support curved surface esp. in vehicles. The mat is formed from an outer layer of a dense thermoplastics material bonded to a thick layer of porous polyurethane foam. In order that the mat may readily follow a curved surface, both the foam and the thermoplastic have notches spaced at intervals. The notches may be produced either by roller cutting or pressing operations.</p> |
