PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can improve fixability (abrasion resistance) and can impart glossiness without affected by a pretreatment for coagulating a pigment while improving image density using a recording medium to which is subjected to the pretreatment.SOLUTION: An image forming method includes: an image formation step of sticking inkjet ink containing a pigment onto a recording medium having a pigment coagulation function to form an image; and a posttreatment step of sticking a posttreatment liquid containing water and resin particles onto the surface onto which the inkjet ink is stuck of the recording medium. The inkjet ink contains no anionic surfactant, the resin particles have pKa of 7.0 or less, and the posttreatment liquid contains the anionic surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
