The assembled building structure, comprising sets of block elements and of upright columns and horizontal bars made of reinforced concrete, is suitable for rapid and inexpensive erection in areas subjected to earthquakes. The reinforced concrete structure is contained in the block element structure (51). It consists of a regular network of simple, constantly repeated units, each with two opposing columns, with their bases running transversely along the longer side. They are connected by two or more top and bottom bars, running lengthways. Columns and bars can have steel reinforcing bars, aligned along parallel, vertical, interfacing rectangular frames. Blocks columns and horizontal bars can be made of light concrete.
|
