<p>The automatic coupling is for manure removal systems. The drive has drums fitted to a common, motor driven drive shaft. One of these drums can be connected with the drive shaft to roll in a manure scraper mechanism, which extends from one drum to another. This allows a roll off of the mechanism so that it is disconnected from the drive shaft. A pick-up which takes part in the drive shaft rotation has a pick-up mechanism (19) which can be moved to different pick-up positions by acting with a guide face (20) on the one drum (6) when the drive shaft (3) turns in one direction or with a guide face on the other drum (7), when the drive shaft (3) turns in the other direction. This pick-acts with a stop (22, 23) of the drum (6, 7) and then connects the drive shaft and one of the drums and disconnects the drive shaft and the other drum.</p> |
