Expansible trough for polymeric foam production - to provide continuous buns of variable width, esp. of polyurethane

Continuous buns or slabs of polymeric foam are produced from liquid reactants in a trough formed from a pair of open-ended trough sections, one of which is mounted within the other to form an expansible trough, with a pair of detachable end sections one at the extended end of each trough section and a protective lining disposed along and against the interior of the trough sections to prevent contact between the sections and the foam reactants, lateral portions of the lining being disposed between, and held by, the trough sections and end sections. Trough is easily adjusted to desired width of slab, eliminating waste by trimming, and is easily cleaned after use.
