PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document reader that is superior in visibility of a setting position for any document, can have its read part shared, gives no damage to a flexible document such as thick paper, a card, etc., and has a compact product outer shape.SOLUTION: An ADF 2 comprises: a supply part 30 which has a supply tray 31 and supplies a document; a second read part 40 which is arranged opposite to a first read part 10 of a scanner 3, and reads the other surface side of the document supplied from the supply part 30; first and second discharge openings 60, 70 which are arranged below the supply tray 31; a first conveyance path P1 which conveys the flexible document from the supply tray 31 as a starting point to the other side through one side between the read parts 10, 40 and discharges the flexible document through the first discharge opening 60; and a second conveyance path P2 which conveys an inflexible document from the supply tray 31 as a starting point to one side through the other side between the read parts 10, 40 and discharges the inflexible document through the second discharge opening 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
