PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satisfactory hermetically sealed state by eliminating a portion where a pressure to a packing tends to be weak in a hermetically sealed box such as an electric connection box that is mounted in a vehicle.SOLUTION: An electric connection box 11 comprises a main body member 21 and a lid member 31. The lid member 31 includes a fastening part that forms a fastener to be coupled to the main body member 21, and a holding groove 35 that holds a packing 41 for sealing with the main body member 21. On a bottom of a corner away from the fastening part in the holding groove 35, a raised bottom forming part 36 is provided for raising a bottom face level rather than a bottom face level of a portion corresponding to the fastening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
