Gas burner contg. a mixer provided with an air inlet and a distributor inlet for natural gas, the distributor being aligned in the mixer which is also fitted with mouthpiece through which the gas-air mixt. flows. The distributor consists of two parallel ring manifolds located concentrically in the mixer and connected to each other pipes, and the manifold nearer the mouthpiece is provided with radially converging pipes contg. outlet holes for the gas. Used for the melting of metals in gas cupola furnaces, or for glass melting. A high power burner providing preheating of the gas, and thorough mixing of the air so that free air is eliminated, which might otherwise oxidise the metal being melted. |
