The speed control for several drives with equal or proportional speeds, has tachogenerators or similar producing a pulse train proportional to the actual speed of the loads. Summing circuits add each actual-speed pulse train to a reference pulse train and produce positional error signals characterising the difference between the two sets of input pulses. The positioned error signals are used to control speed control circuits. Position detectors monitor the actual position of the loads relative to a fixed reference position, and pass their outputs to a synchronisation unit that forms a signal representing the relationship between the actual positions of the loads.
|
