<p>PURPOSE:To protect an insulator against abnormal voltage and prevent it from electrifying by inserting the insulator into the outer sheath of a connector for connecting directly a gas insulating electric equipment to an oil insulating electric equipment and providing a protecting electrode at both ends of the insulator to thereby break circulating current. CONSTITUTION:The mounting flanges 15 and 14 of gas and oil insulating electric equipment switching units 4 and 2, respectively are clamped through an insulator 6, bushing 10 and packing 16 by mounting bolts 13. Insulating tube 18 and insulating washer 19 are engaged with the bolt 13 to be electrically insulated. A pair of protecting electrodes 8 are arranged oppositely via electrode supporting metal 12 calmped by the bolt 13 at both surface sides of the insulator 6. The facting interval A is adjustably formed by a control rod 17. Accordingly, it can prevent circulating current produced at the gas insulating electric equipment from entering into the oil insulating electric equipment 1, flash abnormal voltage so as to prevent the surface of the insulator 6 from damaging.</p> |
