Insecticidal triazinediones (I; R = C2-C6 alkyl, C5-C6 cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl substituted with halogen, nitro, or C1-C4 alkyl, R1 = H, C1-C4 alkyl), with low toxicity to plant and domestic animal, were prepd. by cyclocondensation of compd. II with isocyanate (R-N=C=O) in inert solvent e.g. benzene, toluene, xylene, benzine.
