<p>The installation is used for automatic feeding of calves and comprises a central mast (1) within a building. This mast forms a flue for a hot water boiler (27) and also a bearing for an arm (6) rotating about the mast. The heated water is pumped (29) upwards into a hopper (21) surrounding the mast. The water mixes with various milk solids inside the hopper and, after a delay, the resulting liq. feed is pumped (7) along the rotary arm. The liq. is dispensed into troughs (10) equipping stalls (17) arranged in a circle, a programming unit controlling distribution.</p> |
