<p>The step unit has sliding and pivoting collapsible treads supported by pin-jointed stays. A storage rack is provided beneath the caravan floor. The rack is formed by two parallel tapered 'Z' sections fixed beneath the floor, and of which the inturned lower flanges locate the respective longerons of the collapsed ladder. When viewed in plan, the flanges may extend the longerons of the deployed ladder, may have a longitudinal fall in the directions in which the ladder is inserted and may inc. stops formed by returns at the low end.</p> |
