Double-side rotary printing press for continuous sheet - has guide roller for sheet which is unwound and wound on same side of machine

The rotary printing press prints both sides of a continuously-moving sheet. The press proper has guides for the sheet (16, 17, 18) so that it emerges on the same side as it enters, where there is a coiling and uncoiling mechanism (3). The latter has two transverse horizontal spindles (19), one for the winding and one for the unwinding coil, together with a drive for the spindle accommodating the winding coil. There can be two top guide rollers (16, 17) for the sheet (2) and at the inlet an intermediate roller (18) between the top and bottom rollers under which the sheet runs on entering the press (1).
