<p>Sections issuing from an extruder are wound on to a roller (and partic. sealing tapes of elastic tacky rubber prods. e.g. window seals), using a driven shaft to take the material which is extruded on to a backing tape. The extrusion on its backing is festooned immediately from the extruder, a conveyor belt takes it from the festoon to the winding roller, and this roler is driven at a speed controlled by the depth of festooning. No manual handling, constant winding tension, extruder operates continuously (i.e. even when winding roller is being changed).</p> |
