PURPOSE:To adjust the gap between a toner drum and a recording electrode without reducing the durability of the toner drum by bringing the outer circumferences of the bearing of the toner drum and the bearing supporting the electrode in different directions. CONSTITUTION:At the both sides of a toner drum 1, there are aranged ball bearings 20 and 21 integrally with the drum 1. A recording electrode 3 is born on roller bearings 18 and 19 through projecting support shafts 16 and 17. The outer circumferences, where the bearings abut, are formed with tapers of different directions so that the abutting positions are changed if nuts 23 and 24 are turned. The gap between the drum 1 and the electrode 3 is adjusted by the bearings 18 and 19 failing to abut against the surface of the drum 1 without deteriorating the durability of the drum 1. As a result, by the application of the recording power to the electrode 3, the recording paper passing through the gap between the electrode 3 and the drum 1 can be recorded directly with a satisfactory toner image. |
