Moment-free pressure relief system for filter explosion - with escape route upwards from dirty to clean side of filter unit

A moment-free pressure relief system for bag filters or candle filters is designed for limited explosion pressure, e.g. dust explosion, and is intended to transmit the reaction force directly into a support structure without moment. The pressure relief takes place along the filter axis vertically upwards from the dirty gas chamber through the clean gas chamber and so to the pressure relief disc or other relief device. Pref. a collecting basket or grillage in the dirty gas chamber prevents filter elements from passing up along the escape route. The jet of explosive gas is transmitted directly upwards away from surrounding personnel and equipment and the thrust is transmitted directly downwards into the support structure.
