Building lighting zones central control circuit - has each load circuit connected to partly or fully electronic impulse switch

A control unit is used for various load circuits e.g. lighting in a building. There is a central switch for taking any required number of load circuits out of action. It is used e.g. in large office blocks where individual room lighting can be controlled from a central point. The system has localised switches which may be used to over-ride the central control switch when the lighting in individual rooms react to be switched on or off, as required, without incurring high installation costs for the wiring etc. and without the switch-off or switch-on impulse interfering with other local switches and their associated load circuits. Each load circuit L1, L2 etc. is connected to a partly or fully electronic impulse switch (St1, St2 etc.) which switches off the associated load circuit via the central control switch (Z) following overstepping of a predetermined current-interruption period.
