The connectors parts, e.g. socket and blade assemblies, can be locked together by locking devices with hook-like elements. They bend outwards during insertion and flexibly snap back behind locking shoulders of the opposite part. The locking elements (17, 18) are at the front of the connector. They can be bent for their release about a pivot axis at the front area, perpendicular to the direction of insertion (F2) and to the connector length.
