The machine assembles and dispenses banknotes, as desired. A storage unit is provided for each particular paper type, connected to an assembly station. Each unit comprises a magazine for the notes and with a separator mechanism, connected to storage track. Each of the latter can consist of a number of intermediate storage units typically comprising independent sets of belts, between which the notes are guided. Individual notes can be separated by a suction roller with cups, extracting them from the underside of the stack in the magazine, and transferring to a conveyor delivering to the storage track.
