The ramp comprises a tiltable platform (1) moved by a first jack (7), a pivoting blade (4) moved by a second jack (13) and a circuit for supplying these two jacks with pressurised fluid and for discharging the pressurised fluid from these two jacks. The two jacks have a single active purpose and the fluid chamber of the second jack is connected by a conduit to the fluid chamber of the first jack at the end of travel of the piston of the latter. This conduit is connected to a discharge circuit by means of a valve (20) whose control member (23) is connected to the platform by a transmission (21, 22) whose purpose is to close and open, respectively, this valve substantially at the end of upward travel and descent of the platform, respectively. This ramp may be used for loading and unloading a lorry or truck. <IMAGE>
