PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector and a cable with the connector, of which durability is increased so that a cracking or a breaking does not occur in a pull member even if the connector is repeatedly pulled/inserted.SOLUTION: A connector 70 to be prevented from pulling out by engagement pieces 91 and 92 of a cage 9, comprises: a connector housing 3 to which a concave part 30 with which the engagement pieces 91 and 92 engage is formed; a slide member 5 that cancels the engagement of engagement pieces 91 and 92 to the concave part 30 by a slide movement; and a pull tab 6 which is made of a resin and has an operation part 61 operated when moving the slide member 5. In the pull tab 6, a projection part 62 extending to their short side direction is formed. In the slide member 5, when a connection part 52 connecting a pair of arm parts 51 faces to a side surface 62a of the projection part 62 of pull tab 6, and the pull tab 6 is operated so as to be pulled, the side surface 62a of projection part 62 contacts with the connection part 52, and the slide member 5 moves in the connection part 52 by receiving a moving force in a departure direction form the projection part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
