<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the permeability of the air while preventing the infiltration of foreign matters, by using a porous hard sponge seal with an anticorrosive property and permeability for the seal of a guide pin mounted between a caliper and a fixed supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 9 of a caliper is clamped between a guide pin 7 and a stage portion 7a by tightening a nut 8 to a screw portion mounted to one end of the guide pin 7 in the guide pin. The other end is inserted into a hole of a fixed supporting body 1, and a ventilating hole 7b communicating with a fitting hole 1a is installed to an outer circumference of the guide pin 7. Since hard sponge with permeability is utilized for a seal portion material 11 mounted to an opening hole portion of the fitting hole 1a, the infiltration of foreign matters to the fitting hole 1a can be prevented while ensuring communication with the air, thus generating no vacuum phenomenon in the fitting hole 1a, then preventing the formation of the scuffing of a brake.</p> |
