PURPOSE:An electrolytic composite polisher for cylinder which is capable of effectively and concurrently performing both mechanical polishing and electrolytic polishing, having the mechanism in which electrolyte is supplied from one side of hollow axle and also a head pressing fluid is supplied from the other side to polishing head provided to hollow rotary axle. CONSTITUTION:The electrolyte 14 (not illustrated) is pumped from the hollow path 18 of the rotary axle 2 to the electrode holding plates 27 and 27' through the hoses 19 and 19' and then sent from the nozzle of the tool electrodes 33 and 33' to the inside of the matter 1 to be polished through the polishers 34 and 34'. On the other hand, the air 16 is sent from the hollow path 20 of the rotary axle 2 to the inside of the cylinders 24 and 24' through the hoses 21 and 21' to push the tool electrodes 33 and 33' against the inside of the matter 1 to be polished through the abrasives 34 and 34'. When electrolytic voltage is applied between the matter 1 to be polished and the tool electrodes 33 and 33' and at the same time the rotary axle 2 is rotated, a composite polishing for the inside of the matter 1 to be polished can be attained. |
