PURPOSE:For finishing curved and flat work surfaces, to repeat electric machining while making the change-over of the connection polarities of an electrode and work to a power source and adjusting the radies of the eccentric and rocking motions as well as the feed of a main spindle. CONSTITUTION:After work 9 is machined by an electrode 5 for determining the basic configuration thereof, the change-over of the polarities of said electrode 5 and work 9 both connected to a power source is performed. Namely, connection to a power source is made with a large consumption polarity selected for said electrode 5 and a small consumption polarity selected for said work 9. In this condition, the angular portions of said electrode 5 are machined by said work 9 to have a smooth inclined surface while the eccentric motion 6 and the rocking motions 7 and 8 of said electrode 5 being performed with respect to reference 0. Next, said work 9 is finished through the electric machining of said electrode 5 to have a further smooth surface with the change-over of the polarities of said work 9 and electrode 5 performed again and adjustment performed to increase the radies of said eccentric and rocking motions 6-8. |
