The set point of controllers for galvanic cell rectifiers with varying demands uses an electronic switching system with two adjustable resistances. These allow the initial and final values to be set. The set point voltage can then be given a certain base value and to this added additional quantities: In this way a progressive incremental rise is achieved by adding in a series of resistances set at varying resistance values. Used for adjusting the power supply to galvanic processes. Allows the control of the power profile to be reduced to two adjustments corresp. to the start and finish of the process.
