The fixing arrangement is for lift cables whose common load is accommodated by a guide. This provides even distribution of the loads to all the ropes. At least two ropes have a length compensation device. The compensation system is arranged on a housing (1) connected by chains or ropes with at least one of the ropes. The compensator can be rollers or wheels connected firmly or lastically. Their height can be changed to facilitate sliding or rolling.
