<p>The mining machine has an undercutting head mounted on a slewing extensible boom, and with cutters angled in the cutting direction and mounted along a spiral. Each cutter holder(3) has a cylindrical foot(4), by which it fits in a mating cylindrical recess in the head. A detachable locking device secures the foot in a number of different angular position in the recess. There can be frillings at different angles in the recess walls and the foot, to accommodate locking bolts holding the latter in different settings.</p> |
