<p>PURPOSE:To obtain stable braking force, by feeding hydraulic pressure with the same pressure to both brake systems when normal, and by supplying higher hydraulic pressure to the other system after a slight pedal idle stroke when one brake system is damaged. CONSTITUTION:When a braking system communicated with a port 20 is damaged, a first hydraulic pressure chamber 21 is brought to a non-pressure condition, a first piston 15 shortens space A between the piston and a rod 29, a pedal stroke is transmitted to a second piston 17 and hydraulic pressure is sent to another braking system from a port 25. When the braking system communicated with the port 25 broken, conversely, the second piston 17 left moves only by a small void B between the rod 29 and a sleeve 16, and the hydraulic pressure of the first hydraulic pressure chamber 21 suddenly rises by the subsequent follow of the first piston 15 and the sleeve 16 to the second piston 17. A spring 33 does not extend not less than fixed length by connection between the flange portions 38, 40 of retainers 34, 35 at both ends of the spring.</p> |
