The air humidifier has a water storage container (1), a cover hood (2) and, lying between them, a central part (3) on which the devices necessary for the forced air circulation and air humidification are arranged. All electrical devices, for example the operating switch (4), the electric motor (5) for driving the fan blade (9) and the water pump (11), and the electrical terminals, are secured on a common baseplate (20), which is fixed on the central part (3) by means of a snap-in connection (47). In this way the electrical devices can be easily dismantled and replaced without auxiliary means, even by a layman. They can be removed in a simple manner, in particular for cleaning the air humidifier, so as not to expose them to the risk of corrosion when using lime-dissolving agents. <IMAGE>
