The present invention provides for the first time an improved toilet seat having a decoration element arranged on the upper face of the lid and/or on the upper face of the rim as a film, wherein the film has at least one continuous, elastic carrier layer, is removably adhesively attached, and is arranged in a recess of the toilet seat in such a way that the film terminates said recess upward in a cohesive and flush manner. The easy-to-clean, visually continuous surface, in combination with a design that can be exchanged and that can be adapted in an improved manner, provides a cost- and material-saving product having improved, long-term consumer acceptance. |
