Sterile biological sampling appliance - with program control of metering device in sterile chamber

An appliance to take sterile samples from a biological reactor (fermenter) has a program-controlled metering device inside the sterile sample chamber directly above the test tube carrier. The closed circuit from the bioreactor includes an external cooler and a pump. The continuous circulation saves the necessity of flushing out the line before each sample is taken. The samples remain sterile even after the appliance has been used for long periods.
