3a,4,5,6-Tetrahydro-perimidine derivs. of formula (Ie and their salts with strong acids are new: (where R is H or halogen; X is OH, SH, SO3H, halogen, alkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy or S(O)nR1; n= 0 or 2; R1 is alkyl, aryl or aralkyl). (I) are useful as intermediates for dyes, plant-protection agents, pesticides and pharmaceuticals, esp. circulatory-active 2-amino-tetrahydroperimidines (see DT 2816123).
