PURPOSE:To build a low-cost and highly safety low-temperature tank, by making contraction grooves, at certain intervals, slanting to the vertical direction on the inner wall of side plates and absorbing the vertical horizontal contraction produced in the side plates. CONSTITUTION:A low temperature tank T is composed of an outer shell 1, insulating material 2 and metallic side plates 3 as the tank's inner wall. Oblique contraction grooves 4 are formed on the side plates 3 to absorb the vertical and horizontal contractions produced in the side plates 3. Since the oblique grooves 4 are displaced to the A - A direction, the vertical and horizontal contractions can be absorbed. This system can build a highly sefty tank with an improved strength at a low cost. |
