PURPOSE:To prevent recording image deviation and paper clogging owing to deviation of supplied paper by energizing the direction changing member provided between a resist roller and a transfer part by the paper deviation detection signal in the recording paper conveying path of a paper detecting means and defining the conveying direction of the recording paper to another direction. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper PR being fed by a resist roller 13 is fed along a reference line and when its leading end reaches the resist roller, its leading end edge corner is detected by photoelectric transducers 361 and light emitting element 362 at the matched timing. When the recording paper has been fed with a deviation and has been deviated to the left side, a solenoid 54 is energized by the signal of the photo detector 361. This energizing causes turning pawls 531 ... to protrude from the holes provided in the guide plates between the resist roller 13 and transfer part, thereby guiding the recording paper fed from the resist roller 13 in the direction of a paper discharge roller 55. The paper discharge roller 55 sends the recording paper in the direction opposite from the transfer part and further the paper is discharged to the outside of the apparatus by another paper discharge roller. |
