PURPOSE:To provide the title nozzle which prevents the deposition of powder to the nozzle and generation of electrostatic repulsion at the coated surface, comprising a funnel-shaped insulator having an opening widened toward the flow direction of the powder coating, the a disc-shaped plate electrode bonded with an insulator and attached to the center of the funnel-shaped insulator. CONSTITUTION:A disc-shaped plate electrode 3 bonded with an insulator 4 is attached to the center of a funnel-shaped insulator 2 having an opening 1 windened toward the direction of the powder flow. The coating powder is introduced into the nozzle through an inlet 5, charged by the negative or positive high potential imposed to the plate electrode 3, and sprayed by the aid of air introduced through an air-inlet 6. Charging of the insulator 4 before coating operation by charging the spray gun fitted with the nozzle, is effective to the further improvement of the powder-deposition preventing effect, and is useful for the continuous powder coating. |
